As a pillar in the design and construction of 2002 Alpine, Studio H:T is constantly seeking imaginative clients and innovative projects that contribute to the local and global communities through design excellence.
Architecture is unparalleled in its influence on our day to day environment. Construction is remarkably resource intensive. Quality design requires thinking in terms of the broader affects of our work and the long-term consequences of our actions.
Studio H:T subscribes to the sustainable principles represented by the USGBC’s LEED program and has designed both commercial and residential projects that targeted certification. They are familiar as well with the Energy Star program and Colorado Built Green.
With projects that incorporate active and passive solar heating and power generation technology, working with building systems such as SIPs, ICFs, and OVE framing, and utilizing alternative materials such as papercrete countertops, recycled content tile, and low VOC paints, Studio H:T was the perfect firm to design the first American-designed, German-built precision-engineered ecoluxury home in the US.
